Thank You for Supporting the Rocky Mount Chamber Choir

The DeLeon Carter Foundation recently made a grant to the Rocky Mount Chamber Choir to be used to help with expenses incurred with our Christmas Concert. This Foundation has made several grants to RMCC in the past few years, and we are grateful for their continued support. Shown in the picture below is Mr. George Whitaker, Chair and Treasurer of the Foundation, presenting Mark Ream, RMCC Board member, with the check for this year’s grant. We extend our thanks to the DeLeon Carter Foundation for this year’s generous grant.

The Rocky Mount Chamber Choir is committed to providing choral concerts of high quality to the Rocky Mount area community at no charge.  In order to carry out this mission, the ensemble is dependent upon concert attendees and members of the community for financial support. 

 

All donations are greatly appreciated. Here are some of our definite needs, as well as some of our “wish list” needs that your gifts will support.

 

  • Music scores for the singers

  • Printing of programs, fliers, and other promotional materials

  • Recording of our concerts

  • Professionally produced CD recording

  • Instrumentalists/chamber ensemble to accompany repertoire on some concerts

  • Travel expenses of the singers when they represent Nash, Edgecombe, Wilson counties on concerts in North Carolina and neighboring states

INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS

 

The Rocky Mount Chamber Choir is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization.  All contributions to support RMCC are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  You may make a gift in one of three ways:

 

  • Donate online by credit card, using our secure donation portal, by clicking the DONATE NOW button above

  • Mail your check to Rocky Mount Chamber Choir, P. O. Box 8228, Rocky Mount, N.C. 27804-1228.  Please include your contact information so that we may acknowledge your tax deductible gift.

  • Make your donation by check when you attend a concert.
